Sadly, every year a portion of the incarcerated population is released homeless. To offer them a bit of additional support in their transition, the Freedom Backpack Program offers basic necessities. For it, we can use your donations of:

• backpacks
• toiletries/hygiene items (toilet paper, travel-sized shampoo, soap, comb, brush, toothpaste, toothbrush)
• Ziploc-type bags (quart and gallon-sized)
• ponchos and tarps (~8ft x 9ft)
• hand towels
• socks
• underwear

PLEASE NOTE: all donations must be pre-approved by the prison adminstration - be sure to contact us to help coordinate the process.
